Children’s Ministry
Currently our Children's Ministry is not meeting in person. Some of our ministries are described below.
Children’s Worship
Children’s Worship meets from 10:00-11:00am in the Education Center. Activities are done in both large and small group settings and include learning, journaling, praying, singing, doing crafts and having fun! The curriculum used is Phil Visher’s What’s in the Bible. Children’s Worship kids perform in church in December and June and enjoy an annual pool party every summer. They participate in on-going and special community service projects such as filling socks with water bottles for the homeless.
Pre-Children’s Worship
This special class for 3-4 year olds (potty trained) meets from 10:00-11:00 am in the Education Center Sea Turtles Room. Our "little angels" have lessons and supervised activity time. They also learn songs to perform in church in December and June and are encouraged to participate in the Children’s Worship community service projects as they are able.
We are not sure that VBS will occur this year. We'll make announcements here as we know more.
At St. Andrew Lutheran Church we believe we are all children of God, celebrating God’s love, living our faith, and working together to make a difference as we share God’s good news. Each summer we come together as an inter-generational community to reach children inside and outside of our church – to celebrate and learn, demonstrate, and share God’s Word in a special one-week setting.
Vacation Bible School at St. Andrew is 5 days (3 hours per day) of activity-packed fun! We sing, learn Bible stories, make crafts, play games and enjoy special treats. Teens, parents, and Senior Saints all love working together to help our elementary school children and their friends enjoy this special ministry.
Kids will make the connection to God in their lives, learning in an environment where God changes hearts, and seeing how to put what they have learned into action!
