Confirmation
Confirmation is going great. The students are
writing very interesting service notes. Please remember to
utilize the music checkout program and start
to get your community service hours in. You are required
to have 10 hours per year. This year there will be a
few changes to the confirmation service. Details will
come in following newsletters. Please try to attend youth
group meetings. They are important!
The confirmation program is a two year course of study
for students who are entering middle school or any time through
high school. The students will attend worship service at 10:00am,
fill out the questions regarding the service, and then attend
the class at 11:05am. The class will be approximately 40 minutes
long. The confirmation students are required to do a minimum
of 10 hours of community service and it is strongly recommended
that they participate in the Youth Group. Each year in April,
the congregation welcomes our newest confirmands during a special
service.
After the confirmation class has completed for the year, the youth also hold
their own bible study groups. There are three different lessons currently
being taught. A christian rock music bible study, Narnia bible study and a character
and values bible study. |

St. Andrew Lutheran Church embraces our greatest asset, our children.
From infancy through high school, we have and are developing many
programs for our youth. We are always looking for new ways to improve
our services to our congregation and visitors. If I can be of any
